What’s the best part about working at Ken Jones/Snowboard Jones?Getting to work in the industry I love. And the great skiing of course.
What are your favorite mountains?Jackson Hole/Waterville Valley/Squaw Valley/Valle Nevado
What are your favorite brands?K2/Lange/Blizzard/The North Face
What’s your best tip for beginners?Ski, ski, ski! The more you go, the better you get. Keep your hands up and stop looking at your skis.
What is your favorite music to listen to on the mountains?I don’t do music on the hill. For some reason, it throws me off.
What can’t you go up the chairlift without?Friends. I hate skiing alone. It’s just not the same when there’s no one to share the experience with.

At what age were you introduced to skiing and at what mountain?My parents brought me up to Loon for my first ski lessons when I was 5 years old. I have considered Loon my home mountain since then.
If you could only ski 1 ski resort for the rest of your life, where are you skiing?From my ski experience so far, it would have to be Alta. You can always find a line to challenge yourself there. I haven’t been when Baldy peak is open, but that is definitely on my bucket list.
What is your all time favorite ski you have owned?K2 Domain. I center mounted 3 different pairs of them through my years at Plymouth State. The domain was a park ski that skied the trees really well too. Perfect east coast do it all park ski. I have always skied K2 for my park ski and they have never let me down.
On a powder day would you rather ski in a small group, large group, or take on the mountain solo?A Small group would be ideal to increase the fun and have chairlift conversations with. Although, I will ski solo to get fresh snow if I must.

At what age were you introduced to skiing and at what mountain?My parents had me skiing on the harness at Cannon before my 2nd birthday.
What mountain would you consider your home mountain?Pats Peak! I live 15 minutes down the road and I’ve spent thousands of hours there.
If you could only ski 1 ski resort for the rest of your life, where are you skiing?I haven’t skied out west so I can’t say I’d pick one of those mountains. From my experience, Stowe is my favorite mountain.
What is an essential item to ensure a great day on the mountain?Pocket snacks, and something to drink.
What is your all time favorite ski you have owned?My all time favorite ski that I’ve owned is my Nordica Enforcer 110 Free. I love skiing glades and powder and that ski handles those conditions great.
Who is your favorite Professional skier and why?My all time favorite professional skier would have to be Bode Miller. I met him when I was younger, and he was a great inspiration to me as a kid.
On a powder day would you rather ski in a small group, large group, or take on the mountain solo?Small Group. I like to have some mates with me so that we can adventure into the backcountry and have each other’s backs. Contrary to popular belief friends do exist on powder days.

What mountain would you consider your home mountain? What do you like best about your home resort?I consider Ragged Mountain my home mountain. I love the high speed lifts and great grooming they provide!
If you could ride 1 resort for the rest of your life, where are you riding and why?I would ride Vail for the rest of my life. I lived there for 6 years and the mountain has so much to offer.
On a powder day would you rather ride in a small group, large group, or take on the mountain solo?I love riding with a small group of the homies on a powder day. Fast laps and big smiles

What mountain would you consider your home mountain? What do you like best about your home resort?Ragged Mountain is where i usually ride most, i like how the lift lines go really fast and the trails have a lot of fun side-hits
If you could ride 1 resort for the rest of your life, where are you riding and why?I would probably choose Loon because i’ve always liked the environment there, and Sunset is one of my favorite trails.
What is an essential item to ensure a great day on your board?I always enjoy listening to music while I ride so I’d say headphones are essential.
What is your all time favorite snowboard you have owned?So far the Ride Warpig
Who is your favorite professional snowboarder or skateboarder and why?My favorite pro skater is probably Wes Kremer, i like how versatile and unique his bag of tricks is, and he’s got awesome style
